Play-Based learning
4- and 5-year-olds in the program engage in a variety of activities including songs, poems, crafts, cooking and gardening. Special activities are planned throughout the year and include neighborhood walks, seasonal parties, special guests, field trips and sharing time.

Daily Schedule
8:30 – 8:50: Arrival, free play
8:50 – 9:20: First circle time: roll call, calendar, readiness, music, instructions for seat work
9:20 – 9:45: Craft/seat work
9:50 – 10:15: Second circle time: sharing, music, stories
10:15 – 10:35: Snack time
10:35 – 10:40: Walk to playground, restroom break
10:40 – 11:05: Recess
11:10 – 11:30: Final circle: finish sharing, story, goodbye song
