Our School Laurelwood Preschool has been extremely successful since it began with a handful of three-year-old students in 1965. Today, we offer four Early Childhood classes and four Pre-Kindergarten classes. It is a private, state-licensed, non-profit, non-sectarian cooperative organization. Our reputation is well known as a nurturing preschool with strong parent support.
Fundraising As your research will demonstrate, Laurelwood provides a strong program at quite reasonable rates. In order for us to keep our tuition affordable and continue to provide enrichement programs (like story time and music) and field trips, we run fundraising programs throughout the year. In lieu of, or in addition to, participating in fundraisers, we encourage each family make a small tax-deductible donation to the school in the amount of one month's tuition. Donations are tax-deductible and accepted at any time. All of the money raised is returned to the classrooms. To make a donation, checks should be made payable to Laurelwood Preschool.
